About/Overview:
I've been wanting to re-design my OC, Alula Cry, but I cannot settle on a design that I like:


Her current colour scheme is rather gaudy and the manestyle is pretty generic. I'd like to make her look a little more unique, without breaking 'canon rules' too much. 
There will be TWO designs that you can enter. One will be her 'everyday' look and the other will be her costume that she wears during performances. 
There will be two first place prizes. One for the everyday design and one for performance design. You CANNOT win both. However, you CAN enter for both if you wish.


About Alula
Alula is a fortune teller who travels across Equestria with a group of entertainers known as 'The Motley Folk.' She claims to be clairvoyant. This is partly true, as Alula has something similar to 'Pinkie Sense' that allows her to vaguely predict future events. 
In order to enhance her abilities, Alula brewed a potion that was supposed to enhance her 'Minds- eye,' but things went wrong and Alula lost her vision as a result.
For a while after the incident, the loss of sight caused Alula to become depressed and angry. However, an orphaned foal named Mirabelle Ink joined the group of traveling ponies. Mirabelle really liked Alula and eventually the two formed a strong relationship. Mirabelle helps Alula during her performances and Alula is slowly recovering and adjusting to life without sight.


What I am Looking For:
A normal-looking everyday design. How Alula would look naturally. 
A different mane design. 
Less gaudy colours.
An extravagant performance design. Something that Alula would wear to attract customers and aid her performance.
Glitter in the costume is mandatory.
Be creative, but try to stay within a 'fortune teller' theme for the costume.
